In 2003, Angel Hristozov founded Initial Inc., which rapidly evolved into a successful family-owned excavation company serving clients throughout Chicagoland. Known for integrity, precision, and reliability, this Grenada excavation business quickly expanded, building a full fleet of equipment and earning the trust of contractors in the region. Even when the economic downturn in 2008 forced numerous businesses to shut down, the solid foundation Angel established—through skill and reputation—ensured that Initial Inc. would endure.
In the years that followed, Angel ran his own family-owned excavation company in California and Oregon, taking on some of the toughest terrains in the country. From cutting new roads through remote forests to grading steep slopes, his work required precision, adaptability, and professionalism at the highest level.
Today, with Grenada excavation, that legacy has grown into a true family-owned business. Angel’s decades of experience are now complemented by the next generation—his children—bringing fresh perspective, energy, and ambition. Together, we are combining proven expertise with new passion for building relationships, growing in our community, and delivering the highest quality of demolition services across Chicagoland.
